To promote the diverse offerings of Illinois in a breakthrough and ownable way.
 
Solution:  
Disrupt the category by re-imaging Illinois' most famous resident as an ambassador for destinations and attractions through the state.
 
Results:  
  • Record Visitor Numbers
  • Record Hotel/Motel Tax Revenues
  • Named Best Campaign at ESTO

St. Louis Children's Hospital| Guardians of Childhood
 
Challenge:  
To create a preference for SLCH for not only acute illnesses and injuries but also lower acuity injuries.
 
Solution:
Position SLCH as the Guardians of Childhood because nobody gets kids like they do regardless of the injury or illness.  
 
Campaign premiered March 2016.

Illinois Office of Tourism | Find Something More
 
Challenge:  
Persuade people who were leaving vacation days on the table, to take a leisure trip to Illinois.
 
Solution:
Multi channel campaign showcasing how important relationships are strengthed through travel to Illinois.  Rather than feature a litany of attractions we showcase the state's diverse offerings through the story of different travelers.
 
Results:
Hotel/Motel Tax Revenues +13% versus YA
Tracking Study indicated 70% agreed "this destination would allow me to reconnect with family/friends/spouse".
